Sunset Dinner at a soda. A soda is an open-air eating establishment, along side the road. Every soda I went to had very good food, at a great price, $5, typically.
A typical Dinner in Costa Rica: Casado. Beans, Rice, Chicken o Fish, cabbage, and cooked plantains. Sometimes you have this combination, in different proportions, for every meal. Wine is optional. There are many fruit drinks other than fermented grapes, to enjoy.

Lake Arenal: Quite beautiful
On the road to the Resort: Arenal Volcano now in view.
At Arenal, and the view from our Hotel. This was an exceptional day for viewing the entire volcano. None of it was shrouded in clouds. (that is not a bald guy's head in the foreground, but a cave-like canopy with a swimming pool and swim-up bar.
Our Hotel casita.
At the Tabacon Resort/Spa. This is a world-class spa. Hot waters flow through the spa, into pools and over waterfalls.
